ABOUT
Citations was created to bring light to the issue of parking at Clemson University. With the increasing number of students at Clemson, parking is becoming more difficult to find and can often bring frustration to students and faculty trying to make it to class or work on time.

The oldest player begins with the dice and rolls. The player will then move a car of choice around the board that amount of spaces. If a player lands on an orange spot with a ticket icon, they receive a citation. Three citations causes that player to have to move a car back to start. If a player lands on a purple spot containing the game logo, that player draws a card and adheres to what it has to say.

WHAT IS CITATIONS?
Citations is a board game that combines frustration and competition. In order to win, one must park all four cars before anyone else does while trying to avoid receiving a ticket or getting into a sticky traffic situation. |

GAME FEATURES
- Game Board Design: The game board of Citations is designed with the actual Clemson University campus in mind. Recognizable landmarks are identified and traffic issues that students would relate to are included.
- 3D Printed Player Pieces: All player pieces, delineated by color and model of car are individually 3D printed, providing one of a kind player pieces.
- Parking Citations: Inspired by Clemson parking tickets, a citation is issued when a player lands on a ticketed spot.
- Game Cards: There are a total of 40 game cards in the deck indicating different scenarios.
STRETCH GOALS
In the future, we hope to go beyond Clemson students. Parking is an issue not only at Clemson University but other places too. There are more design layouts available that Perimeter Games could take advantage of.
Another aspect we would like to add to the game is 3D pieces to give the map more depth. For example, have a building for Chick-fil-A and a stadium to add more aesthetics. A longer route on the board would be optimal to make the game go a little longer. We would like to add more cards that cause more competition among players. This will bring a much more real sense to parking at Clemson. Perimeter Games hopes to hire an artist to design more professional looking artwork both for game design and marketing. Speaking of marketing, we would like to expand to nearby cities and broaden our reach. By creating different layouts Perimeter Games will be more applicable to a greater audience. Perimeter Games would also like to try and use a different form of manufacturing for the game materials. While 3D printing was useful in the beginning stages of the game, it is not sustainable as the parts are slow to make and are inconsistent. The box will need to be updated to a more professional standard. The cards will be printed more like a deck of cards, making them more glossy and better resistant to liquids. There are still other updates regarding the current rules that came up during the testing phases. Perimeter Games hopes to perfect the game and have it ready for distribution in 2020. |
THE TEAM
Perimeter Games is dedicated to creating games that are able to take frustrating problems in life and make them enjoyable. Even though it doesn't help the actual situation, next time you get cut off by a Catbus we hope it makes you smile and think about Citations.
